suit of wands

three of wands + nine of wands
Suit of Wands addresses the expression of our most innovative efforts. Associated with inspiration, primal passion, and the energetic element of Fire, Wands are the creative application of what we experience in the world to ultimately make our lives more enjoyable. Like Fire, a Wands experience can be delightful or devastating, but Wands are the part of reality where solutions seem to come out of nowhere, and Wands take us to the next level. In tarot imagery, Wands are often represented as tall wooden walking sticks, the mature outgrowth of seeds through which life has sprung forth.  When a card from the Suit of Wands appears in a reading, the chance to create something special is upon us.
We have two cards from the Wands Suit, a combination about intellectual property.  Someone must travel, but it's not a trip unfolding without hassle. Getting to the foreign land is requiring stamina, and this person has begun to assume the worst, but they have already garnered abit of success by experiencing the world. They must trust in their ability to augment the first success in the same way, by returning to the world. Forward planning is required.
How does travel relate to intellectual property? This person has the confidence and perseverance of an entrepreneur. In the new place, their work will not be attacked as it has been in the past, and their artistry will be both appreciated and supported. Marketing probably isn't their forte, since they are a doer rather than a talker, but their temperament affirms the strength of their creative property and the readiness of their new audience.
Today's cards are really wonderful!  I like them so much.  If you do too, visit Lisa de St. Croix's site.  In line with our reading, Lisa's deck is geared for the spiritual traveler whose creative soul may feel wary and who needs a dose of magic medicine.
