getting over something

death + three of wands

Someone is getting over something or someone, and as the saying goes, the Head Honcho does not close one door without opening another.  There's been an ending that makes space for a new opportunity.  It may've been the death of a relationship, but now there's space for the other person they have had their eye on.  Even if there isn't official or complete closure with the old relationship, this person will move on - with increased self awareness.
Earlier this week we had another combo featuring the Death card and its implications of profound change.  If today's reading were an extension of this previous combo, we'd have the same querent letting go of the past in order to accept new work opportunities.  They accept previous failures as lessons that inform and increase their future success in business. They see how the old ways of conducting trade and commerce were superficial. They welcome the changes in their life, as they move onto important and perhaps international work.
These cards come from Genovean Tarot.
