the major transformation

death + ace of swords

The major transformation that has been foreshadowed in our recent tarot readings is about to happen.  A revelation will intensify someone's mental force, launching them into a new beginning.  (Their plans will clear up.)  It will be impossible to miss, ignore, or forget this event.  Separately, both Death and the Ace of Swords promise some sort of new start - maybe a new job, or a significant second chance.  Together these cards promise a passage into one's future, and there's no going back to the past.  Our querent should prepare for irreversable change, fortitude, and accomplishment.  I suggest another writing exercise:  Journal about your resolutions, to honor both the ending and beginning that's being birthed.

And I want to note that what's being foreshadowed and forecasted is a special event.  Recently we've had the heavy weights - Death, Tower, Strength, Judgment with Wheel of Fortune.  A new way of life is being divined, and life as someone's known it is officially completely over.  This a frontier.  That's why I prompt our querent to record and contemplate their resolutions, because Life (with the capital "L") is saying "What do you want?  OK, here it is.  Do it.  Breathe it.  Be it."  The Ace promises this change and its repurcussions will be supremely and completely positive.

Shucks, I feel like a proud tarot mom...

Today's cards are akin to pulling out the family's finest china, as this occasion deserves.  These two cards come from a 15th-century Visconti-Sforza tarot deck.  Centuries old, these vintage tarot decks are stunning and regal, and I chose them for today to celebrate this tarot moment.
