dispute about possession

There's been a dispute about possession over something, and our querent's deciding not to participate in this conflict.  This had been a situation that was fun for our querent, but the fun stopped, and our querent called it quits.  The fun stopped because the flow of change became blocked, which caused arguments.  Someone took something more seriously than our querent, and someone tried to control the situation and our querent.  But our querent said "Thanks.  I'm no longer interested.  Thanks, and bye."
