This could easily be a situation that is dependent on two or more people, and it is a group of good guys - very calm and emotionally balanced leaders. However, these folks lack direction, and they don't have control over the situation at hand.  As a group, their energy is scattered. To get back on track, this team needs to employ their diplomacy, and perhaps they need to also recognize that they are masters and mistresses of whatever they're working on.  These folks know their game and goals, inside out.  Perhaps the problem is self-doubt, but once this team of sweetie pies realizes that they are actually really good at whatever they're doing...  well PHEW - they'll be making big moves, and they will be succeeding.  Sometimes the good guys are in power.  Stop being sheepish and go for your goal.
