use their judgment

ten of swords + judgment
Because our querent is backed up against a wall, it's important they use their judgment wisely.  It is important they're unafraid of their judgments, even if perceptions and thoughts are strange and scary.  With the only option being a tough but beneficial ending, it's crucial they move forward using their inner-voice and inner-calling as a compass.  This combo encourages the querent to utilize their powers of discernment to make changes.  Ten of Swords represents finality, and it's a promise that things can't (and won't) get any worse. This person is in a very fateful, pivotal moment of life; a time they will look back on during old age and say "It all could've been so different..."  Bid farewell to what is ending permanently.  Even if you do not want to let it go, know and accept that it is most definitely going away.
Yesterday we had another Ten card.  For an intellectual exercise, I am going to sync up that tarotscope with today's:  If both readings are about the same querent, that person remains focused on the same important goal, which they may or may not understand is a significant decision and hugely karmic action.  The goal may be a destination that this person's soul has longed for; a place where their soul is or will be at peace, and - as intense as it sounds* - their body and soul are stepping into a space / penetrating this place in time, finally.  The whole person - mind, soul, body - has arrived home.  It is time this person rest, regenerate, renew.
*  Quick-ish note about the intensity of tarot language:  It happens, that's tarot (a shrug).  It's because tarot is a type of universal language that's handed to us, and then we/querents must spend time internalizing, personalizing, grounding messages into our small human lives.  I happen to think that is what's cool, holy, hip, and happening about tarot.  For example, there's something in this world encouraging you to trust your inner judgment, and my reaction is "Great and thanks for that vote of trust, Universe!"  So don't become too bogged down by the heraldic trumpets of tarot messages.  Take only the bits and pieces you can manage.
