Today's querent is a martyr who is on the defensive.  They might be a Gemini who possesses a victim mentality, as this Gemini has been deceived, but she or he possesses enough stamina and resilience to face whatever fate hurls at them.  They must remember that when something ends, something else begins, because so turns the wheel of life.   Right now they're tormented by a deep loss, which was caused by a betrayal, but this tarot card combo actually encourages the querent's pain and pessimism. In this circumstance, by expecting the worse, our querent will ultimately triumph over evil. The message here is to remain paranoid during this battle. Do not let your guard down until the fight has been won.  Yes you have been decieved, and yes you have been hurt and/or compromised, but use any and all suffering as the fuel to PERSIST.

I mentioned before how we have had a profusion of tens:  Our last tarot reading featured Ten of Wands.  On 5 May we had the Wheel of Fortune, which is the ten card in Major Arcana.  In the tarot system, the tens highlight the battle between permanence and impermanence. Tens represent critical turning points and, unless it is otherwise indicated, the tens promise change that is positive.  Although often experienced as a battle which incites uncertainty and fear, querents can appreciate that - in some way - they've come full circle, which is an achievement.
