a demanding situation

three of wands + ten of swords
Because these cards are so different from each other, I feel like today's taroscope portrays a demanding situation between two people.  One of the people is excitedly exploring, while the other person is mourning of the end of their karmic cycle as a loss.  A way of loving each other is no longer authentic, and so this romantic dynamic no longer glues the two people together.  Because the explorer has disengaged, as this person roams around soaking in new sights and landscapes (the Three of Wands).  However, while that old way of relating is dead and done, their love will be reborn in a better way.  (I am picturing a phoenix rising from ashes.)
Last week we had the Ten of Swords, twice, and both of those tarotscopes were part of a storyline about the painful breakdown of an emotional connection.  If today is connected to last week, then we glean more insight into the female half of this duo, who is away in distant lands.  Hot dog, she's a leader!  Not much scares her, not even endings, perhaps because she usually looks forward.  I think if the male half of this duo could take on more of her Three of Wands perspective, this moment in the romantic cycle would feel less like betrayal.  If he can look up and out at the world like she does, then he would [1] appreciate where she is at in/with Life and [2] understand that he has to wait for her.  It's not over.  It's just very, very different.
