   Today's cards depicts an emotional situation with upset querents who are dwelling on what isn't working (Five of Cups).  These people are so deeply hurt they cannot be mindful of any long-term and positive potential (Five of Cups + the Tower).  This is definitely not a positive reading for a relationship, which has gone through some kind of powerful event.  This reading breaks very bad news:  The danger and loss experienced by this unhappy pair leaves them unable to see anything good in the relationship, and maybe even regretting the relationship.  Because something dark and disastrous has left these two querents irreconcilably arguing.
