calliope and muses

nine of wands + the empress
Today's strong and passive woman has a very close relationship with her muse.  This woman is channeling the Divine Feminine as she works on a creative project, so it might be the querent's inner muse.  It may be an external muse like a lover or another artist or writer with whom our querent's never spoken.  (For instance, the English artist Noel Fielding* has been a major muse for me, looming as a big influence on my internal personality and - unfortuntely - I have never met him.)  Nine of Wands indicates that right now there's a struggle between our querent and the muse, because our querent thinks that she knows the best way to grow this creative relationship.  But the presence of the Empress means this muse is the querent's better creative half.  Our querent must let their muse reclaim management of their shared creative process, even if the muse's directive/inspiration makes our artistic querent appear totally intense and their lifestyle utterly shambolic!  Our querent must practice safe self-care, but this woman must also do as their muse says because this muse is only mirroring what is important at the core of our querent's being.  Our querent must let go of controlling the creative process.
* Noel, happy belated birthday!  I always enjoy how you channel the Divine Feminine!!
