Oh dear.  Today's querent is still being affected by the NEGATIVE POWER that we first read about at the start of this week (Three of Swords).  To put it better, this querent is still inflicting a negative power.  They continue to inflict cruelty upon others (Three of Swords).  But somehow this presence of negative power is opening up the possibility of joy and love in the area of deep feelings.  Regardless of whether someone caused or suffered it, after an experience of heartbreak, our querent is now ready for new positive feelings.

In our last reading, Three of Swords was also in the first position, so we can assume that we're still reading about the same EXTREMELY DIFFERENT querents.  Over the past two days, there's been verbal communication between these two people (because we have Ace of Cups with a Swords card).  The hearbroken querent [2] remains defiantly dour, stubbornly clingling to a logic and power that's harming their inner emotional health.  To that heartbroken person, the communication you're having with the other querent [1] is a gift!  A beautiful blessing of a holiday gift!  And to that heartbroken person, not everyone gets a chance to potentially resolve emotional pain with the person who caused it - isn't that the true spirit of Christmas?  Shaking hands, sharing eggnog, wiping the slate cleaning, and agreeing to maybe check in next holiday season.  Personally, there are one or two or five folks I wish I could talk with, discuss what happened vis-à-vis (or via zoom), actually get answers...  So for me, please stop pouting.  End this year with reconciliation, embracing the emotional awakening that follows.
