Today's traditional querent is determined to deal with some important issues (the Magician).  To do so, this person is embodying some sort of magic.  Remember that both magic and magick come in many different colors, levels, processes, rituals, and items.  There's white magic; there's high magick; there's stubbornly believing (the Magician).  Pursuing their goals, today's lucky querent is questing forward on a path toward inner stillness.  That might seem ironic, but I think today's tarot combination is the picture of someone who is doing an immense amount of challenging work on a spiritual level in order to embody a new and higher state of being.  They are making an idea or ideal into something tangible, human, and social.
