turning point

the chariot + the hanged man

"If you want to fly, you have to give up what weighs you down.”  -Roy Bennet

It might seem contradictory, but sometimes you only maintain power by letting it go, and today's determined querent understands that it is time to give in; to throw in a towel, as they say.  Our querent might be surrendering some of their willpower, in order to become a person who has less control (the Chariot with the Hanged Man).  While this expressive person has been extremely successful with taking action, by surrendering some power this person can cease their resistance to an enemy or opponent (the Hanged Man).  Because our querent accepts that is the smartest decision right now, even though it will be a decision that suspends them in time.  For someone who's been determinedly moving forward with a plan, by surrendering some power and control, the pace of this person's life will slow down when they are not able to take further action.  Nevertheless, what an intelligent surrender, to quickly adapt by conceding to a destined turning point.
